North Vancouver is a craft beer lover’s haven, as tons of hip breweries have recently popped up in the area. From fruity sours to rich stouts, there really is something for everyone. The best part? These five breweries are perfectly spaced out to accommodate an amazing brewery crawl!

House of Funk Brewing

This North Vancouver staple is the home of creative brews and yummy snacks, small plates, and appetizers. Make sure to try the Funk Juice while you’re there – this fruity beer is a House of Funk classic that is not to be missed!

RAIJIN // Koji Beer (8.5%)⁣ ⁣ Raijin was brewed in collaboration with our friends @kojifinefoods.⁣ ⁣ We brewed a standard strong golden base with Pilsen malt, wheat malt, flaked rice and spelt, and fermented the wort in stainless with sake yeast and 25kg of wheat koji (made by Koji Fine Foods, from our wheat malt).⁣ ⁣ The koji provided enzymes that broke down long chain, unfermentable sugars into simple fermentable sugars, which caused the beer to ferment to bone dry – about as dry as we've ever seen a beer ferment to. It also provided unique flavours of banana, pineapple, and a blue cheese funk.⁣ ⁣ We have a few more projects in the works with Koji Fine Foods, including one that's already in tank!⁣ ⁣ Raijin now available on tap.

Beere Brewing

Next stop on the tour is Beere brewing! This brewery has a cute outdoor patio space and lots of fun beers to choose from, including a Raspberry Lemonade Sour Ale and a Stout with Cold Brew Coffee.

With a spacious patio and weekly live music, North Point Brewing is a great place to hang out. Not to mention delicious beers, such as their Strawberry Blonde Ale or Beermosa IPA.
