At Hollyburn, our people are the heart of our communities. Throughout these challenging times, our on-site Resident Manager’s commitment to maintaining the health of our communities is something we are constantly grateful for.
We want to celebrate the people on our frontlines, who are working diligently to keep our residents safe, everyday!
Q: How many years have you worked at Hollyburn?
A: 5 years in June 2020!
Q: What is your favourite part of working at Hollyburn?
A: As Resident Managers, the thing we enjoy most is when a resident discovers that we genuinely care about their well-being. They know that we are just one text or call away when they need something fixed in their suite or help with anything in the building. If they are new to the community, we love directing them to grocery stores, or helping them discover some of the fun things to do in the neighbourhood to make them feel at ease with their new surroundings. Our goal is to treat others with respect. We treat everyone with respect to build everlasting, good relationships with our residents.
Q: Do you have a favourite thing to do while “social distancing”?
A: We are careful to be good followers of the new social distancing rules. It is how we can protect ourselves and others. Since we care for our entire building community, this is our call of duty as frontline workers to keep all of our residents safe – we take this very seriously!
